The Mohawks went into Farmington again for the second year in a row and upset the #2 seeded Tigers 52-47 in Division 4 quarterfinal action on Thursday night. Colebrook got up big early and led at halftime by 15 points. The Tigers never quit though and made a huge run in the 3rd and 4th quarter and cut the lead down to 2 with 3 minutes left to play. Farmington was never able to get over the hump though and Colebrook's good free throw shooting iced the game.
Colebrook's Sage Smith had a monster game finishing with 35 points. Teammate Samantha Howe had 14 points and the two sophomores combined for 49 of the 52 Colebrook points. Farmington's all time leading scorer Katie Martineau ended her career with 20 points.
