The Preseason Number #1 In Division IV, The Pittsfield Panthers, got off to a good start Friday night as they defeated the defending champions Groveton 53-36. 

This was a close game throughout until Pittsfield was able to force some Groveton turnovers and pull away in the 4th quarter.
