Four seed Pinkerton knocked out their rivals from Londonderry, 65-49 in the preliminary round of the D1 boys basketball tournament. 

 The Astros and #13 Lancers were tied at 24 at halftime before Pinkerton's Big 2 of Jackson Marshall and Anthony Chinn took over in the 3rd quarter.
