In an incredible game, Salem closed out a road win in Exeter. Their offense was superior in the first half. Leading 33-22 going into the third quarter, the Salem Blue Devils almost seemed like they were going to pull away. 

In the third quarter, Exeter rallied for one of the best quarters we’ve seen this season.With excellent rebounding and some sharp shooting, red-hot Exeter tied it at 42 and began the fourth quarter poised to pull off the upset on their home court.

 In the fourth quarter, Exeter took a lead for the first time in over 24 minutes. Salem welcomed the challenge and scored a number of fast- break baskets to go blow-for-blow with Exeter. Until finally, with a minute remaining, Salem held a one-possession lead, forced fouls, and hit clutch free throws.
