Thanks for coming Jon...........

Listicles are great- but my weekly listicle is REALLY great. These are the Top 10 things of the week as voted on by the voices in my own head. Dave doesn’t get a vote in THIS power poll, either.

10. CHECK OUT THE DONATION VIDEO!

Take a look at the donation video (which you can find here:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oPR4MVOtB2Q&feature=youtu.be) featuring our own Pete Tarrier, who managed to complete the entire thing without taking a breath. You can also relive the moment where the Campbell football team nearly trampled me to death after winning the D3 Title last year. All that, PLUS you can see how to help out the Pirate Ship here at NHSportspage.com

9. THE TCU vs TEXAS TECH GAME, EPSECIALLY THE ENDING

GIVE ME ALL OF THE OFFENSE!!!  1357 total yards, 70 first downs, 107 points, last second touchdowns off deflections, last second crazy laterals that NEARLY went to the house for the win. Can these two teams play every week? Please?

8. BOW-LIEVE

The Falcons were stunned at home in last year’s playoffs by eventual champ Campbell, and they’ve been taking it out on everyone else this season. The Epping/Newmarket Blue Devils were the latest to fall victim to Bow, Chris Robbins helped out all the D3 Fantasy players with 4 TD’s rushing. The Falcons have allowed just 19 points this season. 19!!!

7. MONADNOCK RALLIES FOR CONTROL OF D2 WEST

And their only loss is a 1 point defeat to Souhegan, who looks like a wagon so far. John Stark led the Huskies 3-0 at the half, but Monadnock came back to take a 20-10 win and a chokehold on their sub-division. Monadnock will have to avoid looking past Pelham next week towards a (Mike Francesa voice) YOOOOOOOUUUUUUUUGE game at Kearsarge on 10/9.

6. CENTRAL GOES TO 3-1, BUT MAN D1 NORTH IS DEEP

Goffstown, Bedford, Concord (who Central defeated 20-10), and the Little Green. Which sub-division would you rather play in, North, or the South with Pinkerton, Merrimack, Salem, Timberlane, and Londonderry? (The answer, of course, is neither, you’d rather play in D1 South.)

5. JONATHAN PAPLEBON IS A MORON.

If you missed the video (and you might have, with all the football happening yesterday), the former Sox closer chirped Bryce Harper HARD for not running out a pop up to first. The two then played the feud with Paps going for the two handed choke (that’s not even legal in Pro Wrestling!), then being sent BACK OUT FOR THE 9th, where he promptly gave up a 2 run bomb. Maybe Nationals manager Matt Williams is the bigger moron for sending Pap back out there to give up the most predictable home run in history.

4. SPAULDING AT PORTSMOUTH WAS TERRIFIC FUN

When you see a pair of 0-3 teams matching up, usually it’s a snooze fest. Not so at Tom Daubney field Friday night, where Cody Graham lead the Clippers to a 21-0 lead in the first quarter, before Spaulding (lead by QB Shaun Cormier, who is no slouch himself) got the score to 21-14, the 2nd touchdown from Cormier looking like an Old-Time AFL bomb down the right sideline. The hole was too big for Spaulding to dig out of though, as Portsmouth won a “defense optional” game 42-28. Portsmouth Sophmore QB Cody Graham’s numbers: 21-of-31 for 335 yards, 4 TDs, 2 INTs ... he also ran for 116 and another score. Is that good?

3. THE RAVENS, WHO TRIED TO SNITCH OUT THE PATS TO THE COLTS FOR SOME MADE UP DEFLATE GATE CRAP, AND CRIED ABOUT THE PATS LEGAL INELIGIBLE RECIEVER FORMATIONS SINCE JOHN HARBAUGH WAS TOO LAZY AND/OR DUMB TO UNDERSTAND THEM, ARE 0-3.

Ahahahahahahahahhahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha…..
(deep breath)
Ahhhhhhhhhhhahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha!

2.  EVAN ROYER IS A BLUE HAWK HERO

What’s the most under rated thing you can have on your High School football team? A kicker that can make a field goal when it counts. Cam Reuwicki sent Dover to the Championship game over Spaulding with a 35 yarder back in 2011. Hayden Middleton sent STA to the playoffs in 2012 on a last second 38 yarder on the road against Hanover. And Evan Royer kept Exeter unbeaten, and gave them the tiebreaker over hated rival Winacunnet with a 25 yarder on Saturday afternoon for the 21-20 victory. Kickers are people too, and Evan Royer showed why in front of a packed house.

1. DUDE. SERIOUSLY. SAINT THOMAS.

Plymouth is a good team. And Plymouth is a very tough place to go get yourself a road W, as evidenced by the memorabilia that covers the walls in the Plymouth press box showing decades worth of victories and titles. But St. Thomas went up I-93 and made it look easy against the Bobcats in a 43-7 win that could’ve been much worse if Eric Cumba hadn’t pulled the starters at the half. The Saints offense is a finely tuned machine, and their D was SMOTHERING, shooting gaps and stopping Bobcat ball carriers moments after they took handoffs. Will anyone challenge the Saints before the playoffs?

ALSO RECIVING VOTES:  I didn’t text Dave when UMass was hanging in there with ND because I value our friendship, Brandon Marshall’s lateral, Oakland wins on the road for the first time in 11 tries, Everyone that had Arizona’s D in fantasy won, Heater in the morning/ AC in the afternoon weather
