Liam Baldwin and Con Val upset Mascenic Monday night

I thought we’d get some details about upcoming coverage and content out to our readers before we hit the Holiday break. Plus I wanted to prove to both you and myself that I could write a column in under 5,000 words.

               Game of the Week Coverage

This week we’ll be covering two games; Jennifer Chick Ruth & I will be in Manchester Thursday night when pre-season #2 Winnacunnet visits #5 Manchester Memorial. On Friday night Pete Tarrier & The Great Jon Kesty will be out to cover Goffstown vs. Hollis-Brookline.

Your way too early Division III & Division IV Scoring leaders.

Note that the players who have their profile picture amongst the scoring leaders are players whose parents supported our NHsportspage team by becoming a Gold Level member or registered for premium access:

Division III Top 20 Scoring Leaders and standings

Division III Expanded scoring leaders

Division IV Top 20 Scoring leaders and standings

Division IV Expanded scoring leaders

For registered users who haven’t emailed their son or daughters face picture send it along to me at davehaley@nhsportspage.com and I’ll get it added to their page right away.

Weekly content this winter (beginning in 2017)

On Monday’s Justin McIsaac will give you his Top 10 on everything & anything while I will have a Players Locker Room Performance Re-Cap.

On Tuesday’s I will breakdown five teams every week using blind quotes from opposing coaches, just as we do every year for the semifinals.

Please note that this column will only be available to our registered users/Gold Level members.

On Wednesday we will release our Power Index of the Top 10 teams in New Hampshire. Pete Tarrier, Justin McIsaac, former Londonderry coach Jeff Gustavson, Great Bay C.C head coach Sean Young & I will be the voters.

Every week Pete Tarrier will breakdown his ballot for our readers followed by McIsaac & I arguing with him about it.

We will also have video highlights of the games we covered on Tuesday night.

Thursday’s will be the ninth year of my Thursday Thoughts column, breaking down the biggest games from around the state.

Friday night we will be out at two and sometimes even three games covering all four divisions plus we will give you our staff picks (let the chorus of ‘You didn’t believe in us’ begin…..)

Saturday we will bring you the New Hampshire High School Hoop Show LIVE from 9 to 11 am. Re-capping all the games from Friday night and talking to two coaches every week.

Pete and I will be on the air Saturday morning from 9 to 11. Yes Pete & I are spending Christmas Eve together…I didn’t see it coming either…

We’ll also have scoring leaders’ columns plus our Great Bay C.C (seacoast players) & Cross Insurance (Manchester/Nashua/Concord/Lakes Region) players of the week.

Note that some videos and columns will be for registered only as the year goes on. This was an announcement we made last year.

             Our Gold Level Members

What is premium and Gold Level access?

The easiest way to explain it is; with your premium access (only $50 for an entire year) you will get access to every column & highlight video without any worry of not having the ability to read it or go back and watch it.

The Gold Level members get all that access plus the full game videos of every single game we cover, to be used for scouting or even burning on to a DVD to have forever.

They also get their names on a Star Wars like scroll in our Year End highlight videos plus they get to hit McIsaac with a folding chair without repercussion (Ed Note: This has not been cleared with McIsaac yet).

We hope if you visit us every day you’ll help us continue on by becoming a part of our team.

              Girls Basketball Coverage

We are playing catch up……the schedule coming out after the games started, and while we were loading boys’ rosters and schedules, turned it into a fire drill..

But we will be following through on our promise to give the girls the same statistical leaders the boys have had for nine years.

Reed Grubbs is handling our girls’ coverage and game stats (scoring only) can be emailed to him at GRUBBS_REED@bentley.edu

Please make sure you have first emailed your roster to eliotbless@nhsportspage.com

We’ll get up to speed by January 1st….

Holiday coverage and the Annual Holiday Thoughts column

We will bring you coverage of the Chick-fil-A Holiday tournament in Nashua as well as the Queen City Invitational in Manchester.

When all the holiday tournaments are wrapped up I’ll have my Holiday Thoughts column to catch you up on everything that happened around the state and what it all means as we head straight into 2017.

Finally we’ll be emailing our Gold Level members our schedule (usually two or three weeks out) to let you know what games you’ll have full access to.

Finally…information you might find pretty interesting…

We are able to see exactly how many people read every one of our columns and when it came to the four previews they ranked.

4th: Division I (fewest teams..that’s what I’m going with and it was close to...)

3rd:  Division III (only 30 readers separated Division I & Division III

2nd: Division II (Division II had very strong numbers)

1st: Yep….Division IV….with 400 more readers than Division II, making it the most read article since we upgraded to our brand new website.

You see why I’m headed to Woodsville in two weeks….?
